Speaker(s)

Robin Tatum, MSI Systems Integrators

Topic "Securing Your iSeries Server"

A recent study revealed that most System i (iSeries) servers are incorrectly configured, leaving them vulnerable to attack and misuse. Please join us on March 13 as PMSA partners with MSI Systems Integrators to sponsor a special, free training seminar on System i Security.

Taught by an experienced System i security specialist, this 1/2 day class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of securing an IBM System i server. Topics include:

  • Security Policy
  • System Values
  • Powerful Users
  • Event Auditing
  • Compliance Reporting
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Object Protection
  • PC-based Access
  • Real-Time Alerting
  • Anti-Virus
  • Encryption
Lunch, book, and 4 hours of boot camp security training ...FREE to members and guests! Class flyer.

Many thanks to MSI for providing PMSA with our seminar trainer, Robin Tatum! Thank you also to our own Jamie Henderson and West Coast Paper Company for kindly allowing us the use of their training facility in Kent!
